Who would have thought – Tammy Wynette – Stand By Your Man

There you go. One of the few country songs that are on my MP3 player. CRAZY!! I have to admit I dig The First Lady of Country’s 1968 hit. I can’t even explain what it is about this song that I love. I got caught singing this tune at the top of my lungs at a red light once. Very, very awkward moment indeed. I can appreciate the sentiment that no matter what – you can always try to work it out and blah blah blah. Wait! I do remember what it is I love so much about this song. It really is the best line in the song.
